Played soccer with a bunch of people 15 to 20 years younger yesterday - although we lost badly, I made it through uninjured.

Wow, it's been awhile since I blogged here - mostly because I've been busy with a day job at Ohio's Largest Newspaper while keeping BJK Research going at night. I still blog about computer bugs here, but may go back to doing non-technical stuff here. After all, plenty of other people are spouting off on the Internet, I may as well add to the noise.
All newspapers are struggling in the Internet age. It's probably tough enough without suffering the kind of self-inflicted wounds that the Minneapolis Star Tribune is suffering. In case you haven't heard, they are taking one of the best writers on the Internet, James Lileks, especially on pop culture of today and yesterday, and turning him into a local assignment reporter.
Read him, and read lots of others (including Dave Barry) on the same story.
No this isn't a dead blog -- there's just been a bunch of out of town trips, including a brief vacation to Toronto. (and a bunch of billable hours that come first.)
In any case, there will be some blog entries about Toronto coming soon.

It's a beautiful day for baseball, and the Indians win the opener 12-5. The home opener is Friday, and the forecast is for snow.
Now the Buckeyes need to come up big, and it will be real enjoyable reading the sports section tomorrow.
